SHELTON, CT — Connecticut-based Rodeo Cannabis has filed an application to open its first retail location in Shelton, the Connecticut Post reports. The company's plans call for a hybrid medical and recreational dispensary at the Crown Point Center located off Bridgeport Avenue.

According to the Connecticut Post, the plans were submitted less than a day after the Planning and Zoning Commission's moratorium on such establishments officially ended. Applications were able to be filed as of April 1 after the commission deadlocked over the issue at its meeting last month.
