Carroll's Home Improvement Redevelopment Plan Gets Approval

The first phase of the development of a mixed-use building with apartments got approval.

SHELTON, CT — The first phase of developing the vacant Carroll's Home Improvement site got approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The first phase will be a mixed-use building with four stories and 33 studio or one-bedroom apartments, according to the Shelton Herald. There will be parking on-site for 33 vehicles.

Commission members said that parking demands and traffic will not overload the area.
