Celebrate Shelton With Tree Lighting, Handmade Market
The events over the weekend are free to all.

The second Annual Community Tree Lighting at the Veteran’s Memorial Park in Shelton will take place Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m. as part of the Celebrate Shelton events.
Santa will make an appearance and so will Center Stage. Residents are encouraged to bring their own ornaments to help decorate the tree.
For refreshments, theBoys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley will be selling hot cocoa and baked goods. All proceeds go directly to their club.

The event series continues with the Holiday Handmade Markets Dec. 5 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free to all, the market features live music and over 74 handmade artisan vendors. Additional dates for the market will be Dec. 12 and Dec. 19.
