City of Shelton Announces President's Day Closures
A number of City of Shelton offices will be closed Friday and Monday in observance of President's Day.
The following closures have been posted by the City of Shelton for president’s Day:
Friday, February 12, 2016:
The following offices are closed in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday:
- City Hall
- Shelton Community Center is closed except the pool is open from 6:00 AM- 3:30 PM
- Check schedule of time at Sheltonparksandrec.org
- Plumb Library & Huntington Branch Library
- Shelton Senior Center
Monday, February 15, 2016:
The following offices are closed in observance of Presidents’ Day:
- City Hall
- Shelton Community Center
- Plumb Library & Huntington Branch Library

PRESIDENT’S DAY
TRANSFER STATION & CITY YARD
TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION
SHELTON CITY YARD will be CLOSED on Monday,
February 15, 2016 in observance of PRESIDENT’S DAY.
They will re-open on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
The Transfer Station will be OPEN Regular Hours, 7AM to 1:30 PM.
THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN THE TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
Trash and Recyclables will be collected on Monday, February 15, 2016 as usual.
