Contractor Equipment Storage Facility Proposed In Shelton: Report
The proposed facility reportedly would be housed in three structures at 79 Platt Road in Shelton.
SHELTON, CT — A contractor equipment storage facility has been proposed for a property on Platt Road in Shelton, a plan that is under review by the city's Planning and Zoning Commission, reported the Shelton Herald.
The facility would have three structures — two for storing the equipment, and one for some contractor-related retail space — and the plan would need a zoning change to allow for the construction of the buildings.
Developer Bud Mandanici, who has been a contractor for years, is proposing the facility, in part, because it could help some contractors from storing equipment at their homes.
