Coronavirus Shelton: 14 Deaths, 124 Cases

SHELTON, CT — There have been 124 confirmed cases of Shelton residents infected with the coronavirus as of Monday. Derby has 23 confirmed cases.
The state Department of Public Health reports that 14 Shelton residents have died from the coronavirus as of Monday. Several of the deaths are connected to area nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
There were 1,231 more positive cases announced Monday in Connecticut, along with 17 more deaths and 79 hospitalizations. That puts positive cases at 6,906, the death toll at 206 and hospitalizations at 1,221. The state has tested more than 26,000 people for COVID-19.
