Critical Injuries to Pair in Route 8 Motorcycle Crash

SHELTON, CT - A Wolcott man and a Stratford woman suffered critical injuries Sunday in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash on Route 8 near exit 11, according to state police.

Injured were Faton Osman, 31, the operator, and Ann Laconte, 32. Osman is being treated at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, and Laconte at Bridgeport Hospital, writes the Connecticut Post.

State police said Osman allegedly was changing lanes while speeding when he lost control of the motorcycle, which then flung the two into the median.
