Why are you seeking this office?

Seeking this office to continue to represent my constituents in Shelton, Stratford and Trumbull. During my years with the state legislation, I focused on fiscal responsibility at the state level. I worked on public safety committee to continue to provide. Its residence is safe and secure state to live in. I continue to fight unfunded state mandates to our towns. I will continue to work on making Connecticut affordable and safe for all.

What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?

Affordability is the number one issue that the residence of Connecticut are dealing with. High gas taxes, high property taxes are issues that I’ll be addressing, should I return to Hartford. The state of Connecticut needs to cut it spending and be more fiscal responsible with the taxpayers money.

Energy costs have been soaring in Connecticut. What are your plans to help address this issue?

I will work with my colleagues to control the Electric rates in the state and the elimination of the public benefits charge that is hurting our residence.

Affordability has been a major topic across the country and here in Connecticut. How do you plan to address this issue?

The State needs to cut spending. And stop over taxing it’s residence. Should I return to Hartford, I will work on eliminating government wasteful spending so the residents have more money in their pocket,

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I’ve put a lot of time and effort into working on a firefighter cancer relief Bill. I was instrumental and fighting to stop developers from building large apartment buildings with a single means of egress. That is dangerous. I’ve worked on numerous environmental legislation to clean up our environment and protect our wildlife.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I work hard and a continue to work hard for my constituents and Shelton, Stratford and Trumbull. I am very active in the community that I serve. I truly believe it’s an honor to serve as a State Representative.
