If you’ve been following the annual Halloween Candy Buy Back event that Dental Associates of Connecticut has been hosting at its Danbury, Newtown, New Milford, and Shelton offices for the last 13 years, you probably already know that close to five tons of candy has been collected to date!

That’s a lot of candy, of course, but even more impressive is the $4,000.00 that Dental Associates of Connecticut has given to local trick-or-treaters in exchange for their cavity-friendly candy.

This year, once again, Dental Associates of Connecticut will “buy back” Halloween candy at all four locations for $2.00 per pound! Qualifying candy only, please: nothing loose or unwrapped!

You may be wondering where all of this repurchased candy ends up? No, the Dentists don’t eat it all themselves. The candy, along with dental care packages, gets donated to our troops overseas through “Operation Gratitude”, and to the “Give Kids the World Village” organization, which provides a little comfort for children with life-threatening illnesses.
