Derby City Hall, Transfer Station New Year's Holiday Hours Announced
City Hall in Derby will close early Dec. 30 in light of the New Year's holiday weekend.
DERBY, CT — Derby City Hall will close early this week in light of the New Year's Eve/Day holiday weekend.
According to the city's website, City Hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, and closed all day Monday, Jan. 2, in recognition of New Year's Day.
Additionally, there will be no trash and recycling pickup Jan. 2, which will see a one-day delay for the rest of the week.

The Transfer Station will be closed Jan. 2, however the facility will be open New Year's Eve from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
