Derby Main St. Building Won't Be Demolished: Report
The building does need some work, but not to an extent that would require it to be knocked down.
DERBY, CT — 195 Main St. won't be demolished after a report from a structural engineer indicated the structure is sound, but does need some work outside.
Building owner Derby shores LLC will work on fixing the building's facade after pieces of it and the chimney began falling, according to the Connecticut Post.
The city will likely conduct another inspection once the work is completed.
