At around 8:30 p.m. on July 5, a report of shots-fired at Union Station was received by the MTAPD. It was discovered, authorities said, that a man had been shot multiple times.
A preliminary investigation found that the victim and two others were on a train when a dispute began that continued on the platform between tracks 12 and 14, authorities said. There was gunfire targeting the victim, according to the transit police.
Following the shooting, two suspects fled, and the victim entered a nearby train, police said. Responding medics transported the injured man to Yale-New Haven Hospital in critical condition.
Based on previous statements from the MTAPD that two were involved in the shooting, with news of one arrest may mean another suspect is at large.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the MTA Police at 718-361-2212.
