Derby Mayor Seeks Input on Downtown Improvement Effort

A workshop is scheduled for tonight, Sept. 22.

DERBY, CT — Local officials have scheduled a workshop for this evening, Sept. 22, to discuss ways to improve the downtown Derby area.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Ballroom, 33 Elizabeth St. in Derby. Click here to view the event flyer.

"The goal of this project is to restore community and economic vibrancy to downtown Derby and expand its tax base by bringing development to the south side of Main Street," wrote Mayor Anita Dugatto in a statement.
