According to the department's Facebook page, the department is hiring for the position at $20 per hour.

Crossing guards will be classified as a non-union, part-time, seasonal at-will employee scheduled to work 7.5 hours per week.

Bradley School

  • Morning (7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.)
  • Afternoon (2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.)

Irving School

  • Morning (8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.)
  • Afternoon (3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.)

Applications are available for pickup at the Derby Police Department, located at 125 Water Street.
