Derby Police To Host Free Car Seat Clinic
The Derby Police Department will host a free car seat clinic this month to promote child car seat safety.

DERBY, CT — The Derby Police Department will host a free car seat clinic Sept. 24 to promote child car seat safety.
According to the department's Facebook page, parents and caregivers can come to the department for an educational inspection and demonstration to ensure that any car seats in their vehicles are properly installed, as well as learn about the laws governing child passengers.
The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Derby Police Department, located at 125 Water Street. Walk-ins to the event are welcome, however appointments are recommended, police said.
