DERBY, CT — A Derby resident is $100,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket at a nearby business, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Wednesday, the resident purchased a winning Powerball ticket at Big Y World Class Market #117 in Derby and won $100,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
