Derby Resident Wins CT Scratch-Off Lottery Prize
The winning scratch-off ticket was sold in Ansonia, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
DERBY, CT — A Derby resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket that was purchased in Ansonia, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, Ramila Vaghela claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket that was purchased from the Stop and Shop on Division Street.
The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May, and as of Thursday, 118 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
