Derby-Shelton Rotary Club To Partner With Symphony For Sci-Fi Concert Fundraiser

The concert will feature music from many beloved science-fiction films, including "Star Wars," "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Dune."

SHELTON, CT — The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club invites the community to attend a special performance by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra next month in Shelton.

According to a news release provided by the rotary club, the performance will take place April 25 at 3 p.m. at Shelton High School.

The concert, "A Galaxy Far, Far Away – Sci-Fi Movie Music in Concert," will feature music from a number of beloved science-fiction films, including "Star Wars," "Star Trek," "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," "Dune" and "Interstellar," according to the rotary club.

Guests can support the rotary club by using the code "ROTARY" at checkout to receive $5 off tickets, the release notes.

Proceeds from tickets purchased with the code will benefit the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club and its community service projects, according to the release.
