Derby-Shelton Rotary To Host Kentucky Derby Watch Party

SHELTON, CT — On May 6, the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club will host a Kentucky Derby Watch Party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brownson Country Club in Shelton.

According to a news release provided by the club, proceeds from the event will go directly towards the Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship Foundation, which grants scholarships annually to seniors from Shelton High School and Derby High School.

Tickets are $50 each, according to the club.

In addition to watching the races at the picturesque setting of Huntington, there will be dinner, drinks, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, raffles, a wine wall and prizes awarded for best hat and best bow tie.
