DiMatteo Group hires Kayla Murphy

SHELTON, CONN.—DiMatteo Group recently hired Kayla Murphy of Thomaston as a commercial lines support staff member.

As a member of the commercial lines support staff, Murphy maintains the group’s incoming commercial lines insurance policies; prepares certificates of insurance; and reaches out to insurance companies regarding open insurance claims. She also helps maintain the agency’s social-media accounts. Murphy is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Conn.

The agency’s services include personal, commercial, life and health insurance, investments and financial planning and tax preparation. It is an active supporter of local charities, raising more than $300,000 in the last 12 years through its Annual Golf Tournament. DiMatteo Group is based in Shelton, Conn.
