SHELTON, CT — A former bank property in Shelton could house a drive-thru deli and convenience store, if the proposal receives Planning and Zoning Commission approval, the Connecticut Post reported.

The proposal by Shelton resident David Ghazal is the second time the plan for 5 Huntington Street has gone before commission. It was denied last year over concerns about how the drive-thru would be utilized, according to the publication.

Ghazal's new application calls for a full drive-thru to be used, where customers can pull up and place orders, he told Patch in an email.

The original application called for the drive-thru only to be used to pick up pre-ordered food.
