DUI Arrest Made In Serious Crash: PD
The River Road crashed left a victim seriously injured.
SHELTON, CT — Police arrested a New York woman who was involved in a serious crash on River Road in March.
Shayna Persaud, 23, turned herself in on Thursday and was charged with second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, DUI, speeding and possession of cocaine, according to the Connecticut Post.
Persaud was intoxicated at the time of the crash, police said. The other driver sustained serious injuries.
