A multicultural graduation ceremony will take place at Tutor Time Child Care of Shelton on Wednesday, June 13th and Friday, June 14th that includes songs in English, Spanish, Chinese and Sign Language. The Pre-Kindergarten class at Tutor Time Child Care of Shelton learned both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish as part of a curriculum that helps develop language and other skills far beyond that of a traditional Pre-Kindergarten program.
Throughout this past school year, the 44 students in our Pre-Kindergarten program have gained knowledge and important life experience by using their “SMARTS”. Our Tutor Time LifeSmart™ curriculum has allowed each child to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills, fully preparing them for Kindergarten and a lifetime of learning. Our Pre-Kindergarten children are well prepared for their Kindergarten experience and have surpassed a Kindergarten screening called the “Brigance” in which the children scored an average of over 90 %. We are so proud of all they have accomplished!
