Fire Damages Shelton Home, Dog Dies in Blaze
Firefighters responded to the fire on Wednesday night.
A Shelton home suffered severe damage after a fire Wednesday night.
According to the Shelton Herald, firefighters responded to the call just before 8 p.m. at the house located at 145 Indian Well Road, which is directly on the Housatonic River.
The house was unoccupied when the fire started however a dog inside the house was killed.

The residents of the home have arranged to stay with relatives, NBC Connecticut reports.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help raise money for the occupants of the home.
