Former City Officials Under Investigation In Ansonia: Reports
A city board has approved hiring a law firm to investigate possible financial irregularities, according to reports.
ANSONIA, CT — Ansonia's Board of Aldermen has approved hiring an outside firm to investigate allegations against former city officials, according to WTNH News-8.
The board voted to bring in Crumbie Law Group, which also investigated former New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart.

Mayor Frank Tyszka, who took over in December, requested that the board hire the firm after finding alleged financial irregularities, NBC Connecticut reported.
Tyszka said he has no "personal vendetta" but if that money was taken, he has an "ethical, moral obligation, fiduciary responsibility to the city to find out."
