Former Sears Hardware Site May Be Getting New Business
A new retailer is looking into the site.
SHELTON, CT — CVS is looking into potentially constructing a new building at the former Sears Appliance and Hardware location on Bridgeport Avenue.
The news came during a Shelton Planning and Zoning meeting, but no official application has been filed yet, according to the Shelton Herald.
CVS was originally going to be part of the Fountain Square development, but decided against the location.

The Sears Appliance and Hardware location closed at the end of 2017. Sears declared bankruptcy in 2018. It's Milford location closed at the end of 2018.
