GoFundMe Campaign Launched for Famous CT Singer/Songwriter
Gary DeCarlo, of Shelton, co-wrote the hit "Na Na, Hey, Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye" nearly 50 years ago.

Shelton, CT - Gary DeCarlo, a Bridgeport native and Shelton resident, co-wrote one of the most recognizable hits in pop music nearly 50 years ago.
You might think that the proceeds from "Na Na,, Hey Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye" would have made him millions, but it didn't. The recording industry was different then, and as the Connecticut Post reports, another band got all the credit for the song.
Now at age 74, DeCarlo is facing huge medical bills due to cancer, and a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help him with those expenses.
