Graduates Awarded Grants

Area high school seniors awarded grants

Two area high school seniors were each recently awarded $500 grants from the Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, State Organization. The recipients are Elizabeth Casinelli from Shelton High School who plans on attending Springfield College to major in Speech & Language and Jamie Santiago from Derby High School who plans to attend Pace University to major in Childhood Education. Chairperson Deborah Ruderman notified the recipients of their awards.These students received their grants by mail due to the lack of graduation ceremonies.
