The Griffin Health CHF and COPD Wellness Clinic and Cardiac Rehabilitation are helping individuals with cardiovascular health risks be ready for spring with the Get Heart Strong & Do it Right Workshop on Thursday, April 25 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital at 350, Seymour Avenue, Derby.

This free heart health seminar will provide expert education to individuals with cardiovascular health risks about the proper body mechanics for the lifting, pushing, and pulling associated with the spring activities like yard work, spring cleaning and recreational sports. With the overall goal of encouraging healthy exercise and movement, this seminar will help individuals safely and confidently improve their fitness and get back to the activities they love.
