'Hike The Turkey Trot Trail!' In Shelton Nov. 28
The annual Shelton Trails Committee event starts at 1 p.m.
SHELTON, CT — The annual Shelton Trails Committee "Hike the Turkey Trot Trail" event is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, according to organizers.
"A moderately easy 2-mile loop with a steep hill or two, the Turkey Trot Trail passes through some lovely woods and around Silent Waters," organizers said. "Children and leashed pets are welcome. Please note that the trail is NOT stroller-friendly."
The hike starts and ends in the parking lot of the Shelton Intermediate School, 675 Constitution Boulevard North, in Shelton.
