Honorary Starter Named for Shelton Thanksgiving Day Race

With the 2015 Commodore Hall Thanksgiving Day 5K Road Race coming up, an honorary starter has been named.

The Shelton Herald reported Janice A. Sheehy, Webster Bank’s senior vice president and team leader for business banking, is the 10th person recognized for the honor.

Firing the starting gun is the primary duty of the honoree.

Sheehy serves on many boards throughout the community, including the Hewitt Foundation and Shelton Economic Development Corporation, the Herald said.
