Hops Co. Wins Approval For Renovations

DERBY, CT — The Hops Co. won approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission for some renovations that could lead to better outdoor events.

Buildings in the backyard will be renovated and remodeled, but the footprint won't change, according to the Connecticut Post.

Parking at the location won't be increased and there won't be changes to the building's main area.

The Hops Co. previously tried to get a special zoning district to make more extensive changes in its non-conforming use, but the Planning and Zoning Commission shot down that plan.
