Hundreds of CT Residents, Some in Shelton, Are Without Power
Eversource reports that some Shelton residents are currently without power.

Eversource reports that 551 Monroe residents are currently without power. Over 600 are currently without power across the state.
Locally, 2 Eversource customers in Shelton are without power, 26 in Danbury, 26 in New Canaan, 17 in Waterbury, 1 in Redding and 1 in Wilton. Monroe shows the highest percentage of customers without power.
A dispatcher with the Monroe police could not confirm the reason for the outage and a representative could not be reached for comment.
The National Weather Service predicted strong winds of 15-20 miles per hour on Tuesday, with temperatures in the mid 50s.

- Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 19.
- Friday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 35.
- Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow between 9pm and midnight, then a chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
