Insurance Agency Opens New Office in Shelton

A new insurance business recently opened its doors in Shelton.

Mihrzad Insurance, a State Farm Agency, began serving the community Jan. 1 and will hold a ribbon-cutting and grand-opening ceremony Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. The public is invited.

Mike Mihrzad, president of Mihrzad Insurance, said he and his staff were happy to be opening the Shelton office.

“We look forward to delivering comprehensive insurance products and professional services to the wonderful Greater Valley community,” he said.

On hand for the ribbon cutting will be Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti and Valley Chamber President Bill Purcell.

The insurance office is located at 5 Commerce Drive, #5, in Shelton.
