K-9 Joins Shelton Police Department

Shelton Officer Dan Loris and his K-9 partner Stryker graduated the 173rd Connecticut State Police Patrol Dog Training Troop On May 28.

Officer Loris also received the Daniel “Danny” Wasson K-9 Memorial Award. This award is given in memory of Officer Danny Wasson of the Milford Police Department who was killed in the line of duty.

The award is given to a member of the graduating class that best exemplifies Danny’s motivation and enthusiasm in the field of K-9 training.
