Man Shot During Shelton Robbery: PD

SHELTON, CT — A man was shot during a robbery in the area of Wells Fargo Bank late Tuesday night, according to police.

The victim said he exited the bank and was approached by two males wearing masks and hoods. Both were armed with guns and took the victim's wallet and phone, police said. The robbers then fled on foot and the victim began to follow them.

One of the robbers turned around and shot the victim in the foot, police said. Police arrived at the scene around 10:45 p.m.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
