DERBY, CT — Medication Take Back Day in Derby is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 30 at Derby High School on Chatfield Street (in the student drop-off area).

The drive-thru, drop-off event is free, and among the items accepted are:

  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Prescription medications
  • Medications for household pets

Among the items not accepted are:

  • Needles or other "sharps"
  • Thermometers
  • Hazardous waste
