
A Naugatuck man was killed in a crash in Shelton on Sunday.
Shelton Police, fire and EMS responded to the area of Howe Avenue and Housatonic Rise for the report of a single car accident at approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 12.
According to police, the initial investigation revealed that the sole occupant of the car, Alexandre Grosso, 21 was traveling north on Howe Avenue and stuck a tree and utility pole. His vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.

Grosso was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Shelton Police Traffic Division Reconstruction Team is currently investigating this accident. No enforcement action has been taken at this time. Any witnesses or persons with additional information may call the Shelton Police Traffic Division at (203) 924-1544.
