New Counseling Office To Open In Derby
Twin Peaks Counseling will hold their official Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Monday, February 12th.

SHELTON-DERBY, CT - From Twin Peaks Counseling: Twin Peaks Counseling invites the community to their Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, February 12th from 3 pm – 7 pm (with official cutting at 3:30 pm). Twin Peaks Counseling is located at 111 New Haven Avenue, Derby, CT. All are cordially invited to attend as Derby Mayor Richard Dziekan and Chamber of Commerce President Bill Purcell preside over the ceremony.
About Twin Peaks Counseling, LLC
Twin Peaks Counseling is a practice that feels like a family, working to provide the best mental health care to the community. The group’s mission is to promote healing and facilitate wholeness through integrative therapy using a healthy alliance between mind and body. The practice includes five clinicians with unique specialties and the ability to treat a broad spectrum of all ages and issues. Twin Peaks Counseling clinicians work with children, adolescents and adults using various treatment approaches tailored to the individual as well as offering group sessions and programs. The founder, Dayne Bachmann, is one of few clinicians in the Naugatuck Valley community trained in working with transgender individuals. “Being transgender myself, I am able to help my clients down what can be a difficult path through education and shared experience.” In addition to working with the LGBTQ community, Twin Peaks Counseling also specializes in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), debilitating medical issues, caregiver stress, cognitive behavioral and expressive arts therapy, DBT, crisis management, life coaching, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, practical problem solving, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy-CBT (childhood trauma and grief.)

About Dayne Bachmann, LCSW
Dayne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a gender therapist. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and currently maintains his clinical social work licensure in the state of Connecticut.
