Alan S. Ponelli, age 55, of Orange, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2023, in his home. He was born on September 17, 1967 in Bridgeport, son of the late P. Alan and Margaret (Brennan) Ponelli. Alan spent his career working in sales and was in the process of launching his own business, Silverbrook Broadcast. He was an avid fan of Nascar, history, music and everything about trains. Alan is survived by his partner Jenifer L Samorajczyk and his son Matthew Scott Ponelli. Alan was Jenifer’s best friend, finder of all things, fixer of everything mechanical, and the love of her life. Alan’s life would not have been complete without his beloved cats, too many to name and maybe even a few parrots as well. Alan loved his son and was very proud of the young man that he is becoming. He cherished the special times they had together, especially riding ATVs. Funeral services have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton.
