Obituary: Albino Dos Santos, 90, Of Shelton

Albino Dos Santos, age 90, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Luisa Marques Dos Santos, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August, 3, 2023.

Born in Boticas, Portugal on November 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Francisco and Maria Dos Santos. He immigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in Bridgeport before moving to Shelton. He was a longtime member of the Connecticut Laborers Union Local 665 and was employed by Ricardi Bros. Construction for 25 years.

He loved to spend time out in his yard tending to his garden. Albino was a former member of the Vasco da Gama Club. He enjoyed watching soccer, especially his favorite team Sporting CP. But above all he was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. The values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his three loving sons, Jorge Santos and wife, Lauri, Rui Santos and wife, Audra and Mark Santos, four cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kayla, Jenna and Brianna, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Isaura Duran.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private.
