
Allan W. “Ski” Belade, age 67, of Shelton entered into rest on Thursday,
July 21, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Derby on September 13, 1954 son of the late Edward and Olga
(Krill) Belade and was a lifelong Shelton resident. Ski worked in IT and Home Depot for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing at his cottage in Chester, playing horseshoes, reading the sports and mini joke section of the newspaper on the deck
with coffee. He loved golfing and started his annual Ski’s Golf Classic. Ski also enjoyed sports and was an avid Alabama football fan. Roll tide!
He was the beloved companion of Suzanne Belade, father of Jacquelyn Belade
and Allan Belade, Jr. and brother of Edward Belade, George Belade, Brian Belade, Mark Belade, Cheryl Eldridge and the late Michael Belade. Ski was also survived by his parents in law Theresa Baldyga and the late Peter Baldyga, brothers in laws Peter Baldyga, Kenneth Baldyga, George Eldridge and Carmen Sciuto, sister in laws Sophia Belade, Donna Belade, Janet Baldyga, Doreen Baldyga and Audrey Sciuto, several nieces and nephews and his dogs Shockey, Icy and Rainy.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home,
390 River Rd., Shelton. On Thursday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Joseph Church, 420 Coram Ave., Shelton. For his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital at stjude.org.
