Obituary: Archie Johnson

Archie Johnson, age 71, of Seymour entered into rest on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Bastrop, Louisiana on October 15, 1950.

Archie was a proud Louisiana Fireman for 15 years. Later, he retired from Yale University’s Fire Marshal's Office. He enjoyed oil painting, country music, camping, spending time in nature and photography.

Archie was the beloved companion of 35 years to Donna Fritz, father of Kimberly Johnson, Mark Johnson and James Eric Johnson and was also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 7 PM at the parlor.
