Carol Huggins, age 69 of Seymour, entered into rest on Saturday Nov. 9, 2024 in Yale New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Derby on November 28, 1954 daughter of the late Alfons and Virginia (Bursten) Gronowski and was a resident of Ansonia for most of her life before moving to Seymour 20 years ago.
Carol was a certified nursing aide who was proud of helping people through her life before her retirement.

She is the beloved mother of Jason and Melissa Huggins, grandmother of Shea and Deja Jackson, Ella Mae and Ayden Blakeman and Jason Huggins, Jr. and Jade Huggins, loving sister of Kim Santha and her husband Joe, Linda Greenbacker and her husband Charles III, and godmother and aunt of Jacob Santha, aunt of Taylor and Julia Santha, Charles, IV, Steven, and Nicholas Greenbacker.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Friends and Family are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 am in St. Joseph Church 32 Jewett St. Ansonia.
