Charles T. Carroll, age 97, of Cape Coral, FL entered into rest on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cape Coral Hospital. He was the devoted husband of the late Alice (Flaherty) Carroll.
Charles was born in Derby, on July 17, 1924, son of the late James Arthur and Viola (Marren) Carroll. He proudly served with the U.S. Army in the Philippines.
Charles was the co-owner of Club Soda with Evo Pigaty for many years. He was also a Judicial Marshall until his retirement. Charles was a faithful collections collector for the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary’s Church before moving to Florida. He was a member of the Elks and the Knights of Columbus.

Charles was the beloved father of Charles A. Carroll and his wife Carol, Kevin F. Carroll and Paul M. Carroll, Sr. and his wife Maureen and brother of Virginia Costigan. He was the loving grandfather of Kristin, Vitus, Jennifer, Niko, Aubrey, Douglas and David, great grandfather of Serafina and was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by two daughters, Shirley Addis and Colleen Carroll, a brother James Carroll and a sister Anna Alex and a grandson P.J. Carroll.
Friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 16th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St., Derby. His burial with military honors will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
