Christopher John Schneider, age 47, of Milford entered into rest on Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home. Chris was born in Chicago Heights, IL on February 6, 1974. He was the beloved son of Stephen John and Anne (Peters) Schneider. He lived in the Connecticut area since 1990. Chris attended Rich South High School in Richton Park, IL before moving to Shelton where he graduated from Shelton High School in 1992. He went on to UCONN where he received his bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems in 1996. Chris was a Security Analyst for IBM. He was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity at UCONN. Chris enjoyed movies, U2 band, video games, gadgets, traveling and the family recipe of gingerbread cookies. Chris was the loving father of Chloe Budzinski, brother of Thomas Schneider, Diane Niwore (Tony) and uncle of Madeline Niwore and William Niwore. He was also survived by Jennifer Budzinski and several friends. Friends may call on Friday from 4:15 to 5:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 5 PM. Family and friends are required to wear masks. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com.
