Obituary: Cindy E. Pompa

Cindy E. Pompa, age 70, of Seymour entered into rest on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Vincent Pompa. Cindy was born in Derby on August 28, 1952 daughter of the late Walter and Minnie (McCarthy) Bassett. She worked at Wiffle Ball for many years until her retirement.

Cindy was the beloved mother of Cindy Pompa-Best and her husband Karl, loving grandmother of Anthony and William Best, sister of David Bassett, Joan Raymond and the late Patricia Bartram. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to her graveside service on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Ave., Derby.

The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby has been entrusted with her services.
