Obituary: Delores Readman Dreher, 87, Of Shelton

Delores Readman Dreher, age 87, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Dreher, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Norwalk on August 16, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Francis A. Readman and Hattie Julia (Gainer) Readman. Delores was a longtime active member of the Huntington United Methodist Church where she served on many committees. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and devoted her life to caring for her family.

Survivors include her two loving children, Ralph Dreher, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, and Priscilla Codere and her husband, Michael, and four cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Jane, Julia, and Emily as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Laura Ladrigan, Harriet "Mid" Stow and Evelyn "Sweet" Wood.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. directly at Huntington United Methodist Church, 338 Walnut Tree Hill Road, Shelton. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be held privately in Lawn Cemetery in Shelton.
