Drew S. Boothby, age 60 of Waterbury entered into rest at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. He was born on October 3rd, 1962, the son of the late Jack and Shirley (Skillings) Boothby. He was the cherished husband of Janet Patuzzi.
Drew was employed as a carpenter until his retirement. He proudly served in the US Army where he was stationed in Baumholder, Germany for 3 years. Drew was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his Harley.
Drew is the loving father of Zachary Boothby and Arielle (Kenny) Balisciano. He is the brother of John Boothby and the grandfather of Kenzie Balisciano. Drew was predeceased by his brother, Gregory Boothby.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and compassion for Drew.
Friends may greet Drew’s family on Thursday, June 29th from 5-7pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the memorial contributions be made to the West Haven VA Medical Center, 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven.
