Eleanor Gemski, age 83, of Seymour entered into rest on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Hudson, PA on August 12, 1937, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Lisinski) Musial. Eleanor worked at Bradleys, Kings before becoming a longtime manager at Ames. Later, she worked parttime at Ocean State Job Lot. She had an avid love for Polka music and dancing. Eleanor will be missed in the polka community. She also enjoyed traveling. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. Eleanor was the beloved mother of David Gemski, James Gemski and his wife Christel and Debra Gemski and her spouse Karen Evans and loving grandmother of Amanda Gemski, Shonda Gemski and Eric Gemski and his wife Ashley and great grandmother of Theo Gemski. She was predeceased by her son Gary Gemski and a brother Joseph Musial. Friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Friday, July 23rd at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 420 Coram Ave., Shelton.
